What is Jancy?
Jancy isn't your typical web browser – it's a specialized platform built for users who need precise control over multiple online sessions. Its standout feature is a "tab-first approach" where you decide whether each tab operates as a completely isolated session or shares data with other tabs.
When isolated, each tab maintains its own cookies, proxy, and profile data. This separation prevents websites from linking activities across different accounts, making it essential for managing multiple accounts in eCommerce, social media management, ticketing platforms, and data collection.
Jancy also offers a sophisticated profile management system that stores and autofills contact information, addresses, and payment details across your sessions. The platform embraces a "bring-your-own-proxy" (BYOP) philosophy, giving you complete flexibility to use proxies from any provider – whether from CSV files on your computer or through custom API endpoints.
Why Jancy and proxies are a powerful combination
A proxy server acts as an intermediary for your internet traffic, masking your real IP address with its own. This simple function significantly enhances Jancy's capabilities. When you assign a different proxy to each isolated Jancy tab, you create multiple independent sessions that appear to originate from different locations.
This synergy delivers several critical advantages:
Secure multi-account management. Manage multiple accounts on a single platform with reduced risk of triggering security flags. Each tab's activity appears to originate from a different IP address and maintains separate cookies and session data.
Bypassing geo-restrictions. Access region-locked content, sales, or services by using a proxy from a specific location. With a diverse pool of high-quality proxy options, you can appear to be browsing from anywhere in the world.
Enhanced anonymity. Protect your privacy during market research or data collection. Proxies prevent websites from tracking your true IP address and location, while Jancy's session isolation keeps your activities separate.
Integrating HypeProxies with Jancy
Let's walk through the entire integration process step-by-step:
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
The Jancy browser. You'll need to download and install the latest version for your operating system from the official Jancy website.
An active Jancy subscription.
Your HypeProxies credentials. You'll need an active proxy plan from HypeProxies.
Step 1 – prepare your HypeProxies credentials
First, you need to retrieve your proxy list from the HypeProxies dashboard and format it for Jancy.
Step 1 – access your HypeProxies dashboard by logging in. New users have the option to request a free trial.
Step 2 – navigate to your active proxy plan. If you don't have one, you can browse our proxy solutions like ISP proxies, sneaker proxies, or ticket proxies to find the perfect fit for your needs.
Step 3 – locate your proxy list, which is formatted as IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD.

Step 4 – copy the entire list of proxies you intend to use and open a plain text editor (like Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on macOS).
Step 5 – create a header row. For maximum compatibility with Jancy's features, we recommend using: name, host, port, username, password.
Step 6 – on new lines, paste your proxy details, separating each component with a comma to match the header row. You can assign a unique name to each proxy for easy identification later.
Step 7 – Save the file with a memorable name, such as proxies-list.txt. This file is what you'll import into Jancy.
Your final file should look like this:
Pro tip – before importing, you can use our free proxy checker tool to quickly verify the status and connectivity of your proxies.
Step 2 – configure a proxy provider in Jancy
With your proxy file ready, it's time to add it to Jancy.
Step 1 – launch the Jancy browser and log in.

Step 2 – In any Jancy tab, right-click the Proxy Icon (a network symbol) in the navigation bar and select "Configure proxies..." from the menu.

Step 3 – In the Proxy settings window, click the + Add a proxy provider button.

Step 4 – from the provider type menu, select v2: Load proxies from a delimited text file (w/column selection). This is the recommended option for importing text files.

Step 3 – configure the import
Path. Click the folder icon and select the proxies-list.txt file you created. The "Name" field will auto-populate.
Has header row. Check this box, since our file includes a header.
Column Format. Ensure it matches your header: name, host, port, username, password.
Delimiter. Select comma.
Mode. The "Mode" setting determines how Jancy assigns proxies to new tabs. Choose the mode that best fits your workflow:
Persist. Assigns proxies sequentially and remembers the last one used, even after a restart.
Start Over. Assigns proxies sequentially but resets to the top of the list on each restart.
Random. Assigns a random proxy from the list, avoiding reuse until all have been assigned once.

After configuring these settings, you should see a confirmation message indicating the number of proxies successfully loaded.

Step 4 – test and activate your proxies
Step 1 – click the Play Icon (Test) next to your new proxy provider. You should see a green "Passed" message for each proxy, confirming they are working correctly.

Step 2 – to use a proxy, simply click the Proxy Icon in the navigation bar of the desired tab. It will turn blue, indicating that the tab's traffic is now routed through your proxies.

Step 3 – to confirm the proxy is working, navigate to a site like whatismyipaddress.com. The IP address displayed should match the Proxy assigned to that tab, not your local IP.

Step 4 – to quickly cycle to the next proxy in your list, right-click the proxy icon and select "Skip proxy".

Step 5 – reload the IP-checking website to see your new IP address.

Linking proxies to Jancy profiles
Jancy allows you to permanently associate specific proxies with user profiles. This ensures that a persona (e.g., "Account A") always uses the same data and the same proxy, creating a perfectly consistent digital identity.
Step 1 – create a profile CSV file
Open a spreadsheet editor (like Excel or Google Sheets).
Create columns with headers for your profile data. To link a proxy, add a column with the exact header Proxy.
Fill in your profile details. In the Proxy column, paste the full HypeProxy credential string: IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD.
You can assign multiple proxies to one profile by adding more columns: Proxy 1, Proxy 2, etc.
Save the file as a CSV, for example, profiles.csv.
Example CSV content:
Profile | Name | Proxy | Proxy 1 | |
---|---|---|---|---|
hypeproxies1 | John Doe | john.doe@example.com | proxy1.example.com:8080:user1:Pass1234 | proxy2.example.com:8081:user2:Pass5678 |
hypeproxies2 | Jane Smith | jane.smith@example.com | proxy2.example.com:8081:user2:Pass5678 |
Step 2 – add the profile provider to Jancy
Step 1 – In a Jancy tab, click the Profile Icon and select "Configure profiles...".
Step 2 – click + Add a profile provider.

Step 3 – select the option "Load profiles from a Jancy profile formatted CSV file".

Step 4 – browse for and select your profiles.csv file. You will see a confirmation message once the profiles are loaded.

Step 3 – using your linked profiles
Step 1 – In a new tab, click the Profile Icon.
Step 2 – type the name of a profile (e.g., "hype") in the search box to filter the list, and select the desired profile.

Step 3 – once selected, both the Profile and Proxy icons will turn blue. The tab is now using the profile's data and its linked proxy.

Step 4 – verify the IP address on a checker website to confirm the correct proxy has been automatically applied.

Step 5 – to rotate between multiple proxies assigned to one profile, open the command palette (Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar or Cmd+Shift+Spacebar), search for "Skip proxy", and run the command. The tab will switch to the next proxy listed for that profile.

Troubleshooting common issues
If you encounter problems, review these common configuration errors.
Problem 1. Proxies are not loading in Jancy.
Solution. Double-check that the file Path, Delimiter (Comma), and Column Format in Jancy's provider settings perfectly match your file. Also, ensure the "Has header row" box is checked if your file has a header.
Problem 2. All proxies fail the connection test.
Solution. Verify the username and password in your file are correct. Log in to your HypeProxies dashboard to confirm your subscription is active. If issues persist, please contact our support team.
Problem 3. A profile is loaded, but the proxy does not activate.
Solution. Ensure the proxy string in the Proxy column of your profiles.csv is in the exact host:port:username:password format with colons as separators.
