The Opportunity

HypeProxies is one of the fastest-growing infra-first proxy and server companies in the market. We've built:

• Fully owned infrastructure in Ashburn, VA and Dallas, TX

• A world-class brand and reputation

• 1,000+ servers sold and managed internally

• A Proxmox-based VPS platform serving hundreds of B2B and data collection teams

• A custom proxy engine and VPS platform

We're looking for a Platform Engineer who has built and scaled production infrastructure platforms, can quantify the customers or workloads supported, and is comfortable across systems, APIs, software, and operations. Production Rust experience is required.

You'll work closely with infrastructure and product engineering to make the platform safer, faster, and easier to operate.

What You Will Own

You will:

• Own core platform services that power proxy and VPS product workflows

• Improve deployment, provisioning, and lifecycle automation

• Raise service reliability, observability, and operational readiness

• Build internal tooling that removes toil for engineers and operators

• Document platform APIs, runbooks, and standards

• Ship production Rust where it matters for performance and correctness

• Partner on architecture as we scale capacity and product surface area

Responsibilities

1. Platform Services

• Design, build, and operate internal platform services and APIs

• Improve provisioning and deployment paths for servers, VPS, and related products

• Keep interfaces stable, well-documented, and easy for other teams to use

• Balance speed of delivery with long-term maintainability

2. Reliability & Observability

• Define SLOs and improve monitoring, alerting, and dashboards

• Drive incident response quality for platform-owned systems

• Reduce mean time to detect and resolve production issues

• Build guardrails that prevent common operational failures

3. Automation & Tooling

• Automate repetitive infrastructure and release workflows

• Improve developer experience for shipping and operating services

• Use Rust (and complementary languages where appropriate) for performance-critical paths

• Eliminate manual steps that slow the team down

4. Collaboration & Documentation

• Work with infrastructure, network, and product engineers on shared roadmaps

• Write clear docs and runbooks others can follow under pressure

• Raise the bar for code review, testing, and operational hygiene
