Is it a dedicated Mac mini or a shared VPS?
Dedicated. You get one physical Apple M4 Mac mini that nobody else uses. It isn’t shared and it isn’t virtualized, so it isn’t a VPS.
What are the specs?
An Apple M4 Mac mini with a 10-core chip, 16GB of unified memory and a 256GB SSD. It runs macOS Tahoe, we manage macOS updates, and it has a dedicated public IP.
How fast is the connection?
We ran a speedtest.net test on each of our 10 Ashburn Mac minis on Nov 4, 2026. The median was 9,418.63 Mbps download and 9,407.56 Mbps upload, with a 3 ms idle ping. Results vary.
Where is it hosted?
In Ashburn, Virginia (US East). Each Mac mini has its own dedicated public IP address.
How do I connect?
Over SSH, with the login details in your client area. Free KVM console access is there for recovery when SSH can’t reach the Mac.
Can I use it as an iOS build or CI server?
Yes. It runs macOS on real Apple hardware, so you can run Xcode builds, iOS and macOS CI jobs and tests on it.
Can I rent it monthly?
No. Mac mini servers are billed quarterly, at $499 per quarter. You can cancel anytime in your dashboard, and the service runs to the end of the paid quarter.
Do you offer colocation?
No. We don’t host Mac minis that customers send us. Every Mac mini server is our hardware, rented to one customer.
How fast is setup?
You can connect in 2–3 minutes once your order is placed. An order held for a payment or review check starts once it’s approved.
What’s the refund policy?
Mac mini servers have a 3-day money-back guarantee: if a technical issue stops you using it, ask for a refund within 3 days of your first payment. Renewals aren’t covered.
