HypeProxies at Prague Crawl 2026: ISP Proxies & Anti-Bot Defenses

What I want to talk about, in 10 minutes

There are more ways than ever to grab open public data, and the tools and techniques have grown across the industry. But anti-bot security has scaled at the same pace. Getting to the actual data behind the page is harder year by year, not easier.

Modern anti-bot stacks like Cloudflare, DataDome, and PerimeterX, plus a fingerprinting layer, now decide in milliseconds whether your IP looks residential or looks like a server farm. The decision starts before the page renders. They read which ASN your IP is on, and what databases like IPinfo, IP2Location, and MaxMind say about that network.

We run our ISP infrastructure on hardware we own, with /24 subnets we announce on BGP ourselves. That's the difference. A thousand clean static IPs will outperform 50 million recycled rotating IPs every time. Most providers don't advertise this part.

Geography matters too. Our cabinets are in Ashburn, Virginia, which sits in the densest internet exchange region in the world. By some estimates, up to 70% of global internet traffic passes through this region. For anything where milliseconds matter, including scraping and automation, the lowest latency wins.

We run more than 500K ISP IPs across all 50 US states and handle 60B+ requests a month on this infrastructure. Proxyway called our ISP proxies "superb in synthetic benchmarks" in their 2025 review.

This argument comes from seven years of carrier relationships and contract calls. I'm looking forward to sharing it at Prague Crawl.
