Apple M4 Mac mini Servers Are Live

Today we're launching dedicated Apple M4 Mac mini servers. Each customer gets one physical Mac mini in our Ashburn, Virginia location, with a dedicated public IP and full admin access over SSH. It costs $499 per quarter.

What you get

A Mac mini server here is a whole machine, not a slice of one. You rent one bare-metal Apple M4 Mac mini, and nobody else uses it. It isn't shared and it isn't virtualized, so it isn't a macOS VPS.

Your macOS account has administrator rights, so you can run sudo and install the tools you need. We test macOS updates and install them for you, so the machine stays on a supported release without you planning upgrades. If SSH can't reach the Mac, for example after a network setting went wrong, the free KVM console gives you its screen and keyboard in your browser for recovery.

Who it's for

We built this for teams that need a real Mac they can reach from anywhere:

• iOS and macOS CI. Run your pipeline's build and test jobs on a machine nobody else shares, so another customer's workload never slows yours.

• Xcode builds. Build, sign and test apps on Apple silicon without keeping a Mac under a desk.

• A remote Mac. Work on macOS from any computer over SSH.

• AI agents that browse. Give an AI agent a real Mac and a real browser. It can open sites, fill in forms and run tasks around the clock on a machine nobody else uses.

• Browser automation. A browser here runs on genuine Apple hardware, so websites see a real Mac: the M4 graphics, macOS fonts and system details come from a consumer device, not a virtual server. Automation teams pick real devices like this because they tend to meet fewer anti-bot challenges and CAPTCHAs than cloud VMs.

Measured speed

We ran a speedtest.net test on each of our 10 Ashburn Mac minis on Nov 4, 2026. The median result was 9,418.63 Mbps download and 9,407.56 Mbps upload, with a 3 ms idle ping. Download and upload are almost the same, so pushing builds and artifacts out is about as fast as pulling them in. Results vary. You can verify a result on speedtest.net.

How to get one

1. Check out. Pay $499 for the quarter at checkout.

2. We provision it. Your Mac mini is set up with macOS Tahoe and a dedicated IP.

3. Connect over SSH. Your login details are in your client area at dash.hypeproxies.com.

You can connect 2–3 minutes after your order is placed. An order held for a payment or review check starts once it's approved.

Price and billing

Mac mini servers cost $499 per quarter, billed quarterly. There's no monthly plan. You can cancel anytime in your dashboard, and the service runs to the end of the paid quarter. Mac mini servers come with our 3-day money-back guarantee: if a technical issue stops you using your Mac, ask for a refund within 3 days of your first payment. Renewals aren't covered.

This is a limited first batch. The Mac mini joins the rest of our server lineup.
